Tax credits for Donations

Thanks to generous donations made over the previous 12 months our Projects Assistance Fund was able to support three important research projects:

A 2024 nationwide census of Royal Spoonbills, which found numbers have nearly doubled from 2,361 to 4,593 since our last nationwide census in 2012.
Hoiho chick mortality post-mortems and sample collection to better understand the novel Hoiho virus described in 2022, which can kill Hoiho.
Monitoring of NZ Dotterel breeding success at Motuihe Island to better understand the determinants of breeding success and failure.
